Automobile marketplace terms

Last updated October 2026. These terms supplement the general terms and apply to automobile and vehicle-part listings, requests and matches.

Scope and role

These terms apply to automobile listings, part requests and matches on NexusXchange. The platform provides listing, matching and communication tools; it is not the buyer, seller, vehicle inspector, fitment certifier, carrier or repairer.
A match or chat does not itself create a sale. Buyer and seller must agree directly on the item, price, inspection, delivery and payment. Unless checkout expressly says otherwise, sale proceeds are paid directly to the other party.

Sellers must have the right to offer the vehicle or part and must accurately describe make, model, year, variant, part number, condition, known defects, usage, included accessories, price and location where applicable.
Do not describe a part as compatible or original unless you have a reasonable basis. Buyers should independently confirm fitment, vehicle identification, ownership documents, condition and suitability before paying or installing a part.
Do not list stolen, counterfeit, unsafe, prohibited or unlawfully obtained vehicles or parts. Remove personal data from connected devices, keys, documents and photographs before sharing them.

The parties should agree in writing on inspection arrangements, delivery or collection, shipping cost and risk, expected dates, installation responsibility, taxes and any return or warranty offered before payment.
Inspect the item before confirming completion where practical. Keep payment proof, invoices, messages and delivery records. Do not share a completion code until the corresponding handover or service has occurred.
Any platform fee is displayed before payment and covers the stated platform feature. Refunds are handled under applicable law and the facts; these terms do not exclude a mandatory refund or remedy.

Personal phone numbers and email addresses are shared only where the person has given the required consent and the applicable payment condition has been met. Required seller or business disclosures under applicable law may be displayed before a transaction.
Read the Privacy Policy linked below for information about personal data, providers, retention and privacy requests. Do not post sensitive personal or vehicle-document information in public listing fields.

Raise a concern in the app or email support@nexusxchange.co.in as soon as reasonably possible. There is no 48-hour cut-off in these terms. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within the period required by applicable law.
NexusXchange may review platform records and take action on accounts, but does not determine ownership, roadworthiness, fitment, title, warranty or the amount one party owes another. This does not affect any statutory consumer rights or remedies.
These terms are governed by Indian law. Any jurisdiction clause is subject to mandatory consumer rights and the jurisdiction of forums available under law.
