What NexusXchange is

NexusXchange is a marketplace connecting people with broken or spare devices, people who need parts, repair shops and e-waste collectors across India. We provide matching, chat and scheduling tools; we are not the seller, buyer, repairer or recycler in a transaction.
Features and availability may vary by location. We may update services, coverage, fees and rules over time and will publish material changes on the platform.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. Pick the role that fits what you are doing (seller, buyer, certified shop, W-Collector or sponsor).
Accounts are personal. Do not share your login or create extra accounts to get around a restriction.
Shops and W-Collectors may be asked for KYC documents (such as PAN, GSTIN or authorisation certificates). Sponsors are approved by us before their ads can be published.
We may suspend or remove an account that looks fraudulent, abusive or unsafe.

Money: what we charge and what we never touch

NexusXchange provides marketplace and communication tools. Unless a checkout page expressly says otherwise, NexusXchange does not hold or pay out the price of a device, part, vehicle or repair; those payments are made directly between the parties under their separate agreement.
The one-time ₹9 match fee is generally non-refundable once the paid introduction or feature has been provided, because it pays for access to the matching and communication tools rather than the result of a transaction. We will review cases such as duplicate or incorrect charges, a feature not being provided, or a refund required by law. Nothing in this policy limits a mandatory legal remedy.
On a repair, the shop's quote carries a 2% platform fee on top of the repair cost. Shops may also owe NexusXchange a commission, set by NexusXchange and shown in the shop dashboard.
Quotes include GST where it applies, and are valid for 48 hours unless they say otherwise.
For an internal review of a discretionary platform-fee refund, please use "Raise a concern" within 48 hours after the deal is marked complete. This internal request window does not limit your right to make a consumer complaint or seek a remedy under law; legally required complaints and refunds will be handled as required.
Fees may be changed in future. A change will not affect a fee you have already paid.

Meeting, confirmation codes and verification

Some electronics workflows use a participating shop and confirmation codes (PIN 1 and PIN 2). Automobile listings and requests follow the separate marketplace flow and may not involve a shop. The parties should inspect and agree the item, condition, fitment, delivery and payment before completing a transaction.
A shop marked Verified has completed the checks NexusXchange requires for that status and agreed to the applicable Shop Partner Terms. Verification is limited to those checks; it is not a guarantee of the shop's licensing, work, products, safety or future conduct. Verified shops must follow the terms they accepted and applicable law. NexusXchange may review or remove their status or access if concerns arise.
Some shop suggestions may be listed for convenience without NexusXchange verifying or approving the shop. These are recommendations only, not an endorsement or guarantee. Before engaging a suggested shop, customers should independently check its identity, registrations, qualifications, legal compliance, price and proposed work. The customer decides whether to engage it; the shop is responsible for its own acts, omissions, services, products and legal compliance. NexusXchange is not a party to that engagement and is not responsible for the shop's unlawful conduct or resulting customer loss, except to the extent liability or a duty cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in this clause removes a customer's rights under applicable law or limits NexusXchange's own non-excludable duties.
Do not share a code until the matching step has actually happened.
Personal contact details are shared only where you have given the required consent and the applicable payment condition has been met. Details you have not chosen to share remain private, except for disclosures the law requires.

No warranty on parts or repairs

Shops are independent businesses. NexusXchange does not repair devices, does not inspect them, and does not give any warranty or guarantee on parts or repairs.
If a shop offers a warranty, it is the shop's promise and should be in writing. Buyers see a reminder about this before paying.
Prices, condition and compatibility shown in listings and AI estimates are only guidance and may be wrong.

Concerns and disputes

For platform assistance and any discretionary fee review, please raise a concern in the app within 48 hours after the deal is marked complete, or write to support@nexusxchange.co.in. This is an internal service window only: it does not bar a consumer complaint, extend or shorten a legal limitation period, or remove a statutory right. Consumer complaints will be acknowledged and redressed within applicable legal timelines.
We may look at messages and records, talk to the parties and suspend accounts. Disputes about the device, part or repair itself are between the people involved; we may help but do not decide who owes what for the item or service.
Do not take deals outside the platform to avoid fees. We may suspend accounts that do.

Prohibited use

Do not list stolen, counterfeit or illegal items, or devices you cannot legally sell.
Do not harass others, post false information, scrape the service, or try to break its security.
Do not upload photos or data of other people without their permission.

Liability and changes

NexusXchange may experience interruptions or errors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NexusXchange's liability for a claim is limited to the platform fees paid for the specific transaction giving rise to it, and we exclude liability for indirect losses. This limit does not apply where it would exclude or restrict a consumer right, remedy, statutory duty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Back up and remove your personal data from any device before handing it over. Shops are asked to wipe donor devices, but you remain responsible for your own data.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing in these terms limits a consumer's right to approach a forum or court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
