Seller terms

Terms of service for NexusXchange sellers

Last updated May 1, 2026. These terms apply to all individuals listing parts on NexusXchange during the beta period. By creating a seller account or submitting a listing, you agree to the rules below.

Eligibility and account

  • Sellers must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate identity and contact information during onboarding.
  • Each seller account must represent a single individual. Shared or proxy accounts are not permitted.
  • NexusXchange may suspend or remove seller access if listing behavior, communications, or payment history creates trust or fraud risk.

Listings and part condition

  • Sellers are solely responsible for accurately describing the part condition, compatibility, OEM or aftermarket status, and any defects.
  • Misleading listings — including misrepresented condition grades, incorrect fitment claims, or false pricing — may result in immediate removal.
  • Images uploaded must represent the actual item being listed. Stock photos or images sourced from third parties are not allowed.

Bookings and transaction flow

  • When a buyer reserves a part, sellers are expected to hold the item until the booking window closes or is cancelled.
  • Sellers must not sell a reserved part outside the platform while a booking is active.
  • No-shows or repeated cancellations may affect seller standing and visibility within the marketplace.

Payouts and fees

  • Payouts are released after the in-person verification flow is confirmed complete by the certified shop.
  • NexusXchange deducts a platform fee from each completed transaction. Fee rates are disclosed at listing time and may be revised during beta.
  • Sellers are responsible for any applicable taxes on income earned through the platform.

Disputes and liability

  • Sellers agree to cooperate with NexusXchange during any dispute investigation, including providing proof of condition or communication records.
  • NexusXchange is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate listings, failed meetings, or part incompatibility.
  • Disputes must be raised within 48 hours of a transaction being marked complete.

Beta terms

  • Platform rules, fees, coverage zones, and workflows may change while the beta operating model is being validated.
  • Sellers using the beta accept that features and protections are still maturing and may not reflect the final product.
  • Continued use of the platform after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
